With more than twenty years of teaching, raising confidence and helping students gain exam success in secondary schools, I have made the transition to tutoring full time.

About me

I am an experienced teacher with a proven track record of securing strong outcomes at GCSE. Having held roles including Assistant Headteacher, Head of Key Stage and Head of House, I bring a deep understanding of how schools operate, what examiners are looking for and how to help students perform at their best under pressure. I specialise in secondary school Mathematics, combining high academic expectations with clear, structured teaching that builds both confidence and independence. My approach is supportive but purposeful — ensuring every student not only improves their grades, but develops the habits and mindset needed for long-term success.
